John,
Her name is “Big Mama” and she’s the first Humpback Whale to regularly return to the Northwest Coast of the United States after decades of absence. She has since given birth to seven calves and passed down generational knowledge of migratory patterns and where to find food.

But it’s not all good news! Climate change is threatening the very existence of these species, making it “too hot” to survive. It is estimated that 37% of Humpback Whale breeding grounds will become inhospitable by the end of the century with moderate climate mitigation - with this number rising to 67% if no action is taken.
We can’t wait to take action! Can you please donate today to help us save Humpback whales, like “Big Mama”? Your donation will help us elect environmental champions who will work to tackle climate change in Congress. [[link removed]]

Now, if traditional Humpback Whale breeding grounds become inhospitable, the population could see a complete and irrevocable decline. Unlike smaller mammals, humpback whales might not be able to adapt in time - coupled with further stressors such as declines in Krill populations and increase in parasite vulnerability.
SEEC PAC is committed to electing pro-environment candidates to Congress who will lead the fight to take real action against the climate crisis.
With only a month left until the election, we urgently need your support. Now, more than ever, we need to elect climate champions to Congress who will fight for the environment and tackle climate change. Will you donate now to help us save these whales? [[link removed]]
