When it comes to something as personal as abortion, the decision should be up to patients, doctors, and families — not the government.

With so much uncertainty nationwide, we need to make sure that Marylanders will always have the freedom to make the decisions that are right for themselves. As we’ve seen these past few years, you never know what can happen in politics.

By voting yes on this amendment, it will enshrine reproductive rights and abortion access in Maryland’s state constitution to guarantee access for everyone well into the future, no matter which politicians are in office.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, politicians across the country have banned abortion and even restricted birth control and IVF. We won’t let that happen here in Maryland.
