Friend --
Even though it’s only the first week of October, the November
election actually starts Monday when ballots go out in the mail.
We have a real opportunity to FIX CALIFORNIA by electing
Republicans and voting out failing Democrats. Our team is working
overtime contacting voters, running ads, and fighting back against any
election interference from the corrupt Democrats. With Republican
voter registration UP across the whole state, we have the opportunity
to FLIP several seats in the Senate and take back our state.
Help
us win Republican seats and vote out Democrats.
In addition to electing more Republicans, we have to VOTE SMART on
the many ballot initiatives. You’ll be hit with tons of Democrat
misinformation trying to convince you to give more tax dollars to
politicians. Don’t fall for it. Here’s how I’m voting and why:
NO on Prop 2: School Bond
Prop 2 asks Californians to approve a $10 billion bond (loan from
Wall Street) with another $10 billion in just interest. Waste
of money and irresponsible! Read my op-ed against Prop 2 in the Orange
County Register here.
NO on Prop 4: Climate Bond
Prop 4 asks Californians to approve a $10 billion bond (again, a
loan from Wall Street) with another $10 billion in just
interest. The Democrat lawmakers who wrote the bond tried to argue
it’s for “infrastructure” including tents for farmers’ markets,
workforce development, and even exhibit galleries at zoos. Ridiculous!
Read my op-ed against Prop 4 in CalMatters here.
NO on Prop 5: Lowers voter threshold to pass
bonds
Prop 5 tries to make it easier to pass bonds (loans from Wall
Street), which will raise property taxes. Once again, this is another
cash grab by Democrat politicians. Watch my interview against Prop 5
on NBC7 here.
NO on Prop 32: Raise minimum wage to $18
Basic economics tells you that raising the minimum wage ultimately
hurts Californians and drives up inflation.
NO on Prop 33: Rent control
Like the minimum wage increase, basic economics tells you that rent
control is a bad idea and will worsen our affordable housing
crisis.
YES on Prop 34: Forces the AIDS Healthcare
Foundation to fund patients rather than their liberal political
agenda
The corrupt AIDS Healthcare Foundation spends millions on its
liberal agenda. Prop 34 will force them to actually fund prescription
drugs, as their name suggests.
YES on Prop 36: Homelessness, Drug Addiction, and Theft
Reduction Act
Prop 36 is the most important initiative on the ballot (radical
Democrats made it last hoping you’d forget about it). Prop 36 will
help fix the broken Prop 47 that’s responsible for skyrocketing crime
in California. While Newsom opposes it, Prop 36 is supported by over
70% of Californians, including a majority of Democrats. Vote
YES on Prop 36 to help fix California and make crime illegal
again!
Help
us make crime illegal again and pass Prop 36.
This election, we have a real chance to fix California and get more
Republicans elected who are ready to fight to make a difference. I
serve not only as your California Senate Republican Leader, but also
on the San Diego Republican Central Committee to make sure our
candidates WIN.
Of course, the Democrats are plotting an anti-democracy crusade
filled with lies to undermine our voices. We're running ads to reach
persuadable voters but our funds are already running low. Can
you help us reach 10-15 persuadable voters by chipping in
$4?
Help
us FIX CALIFORNIA this election.
Thank you,
Brian W. Jones
