2. Making the hard financial decisions to cut spending to reduce inflation, securing our border, and prioritizing the parents' wishes, rather than bureaucrats' agendas, for your child's education.

SUPPLIES COLLECTION
Today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday, October 5, Senator Bill Folden will be collecting supplies and donations at Stauffer's Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, to take down to help the people of North Carolina who have lost everything after this week's hurricane. The supplies will be driven down to North Carolina on Sunday.

Senator Folden has spoken with a North Carolina State Senator who will be distributing the supplies. She indicated that the items most needed are:
* Water,
* Canned goods,
* Non-perishable food items,
* Diapers

April and I will be bringing jugs of water over today. Knowing my wife, we'll probably be bringing food, too.

On September 19th, 2024, four City Aldermen decided to allow noncitizens to vote in City of Frederick elections. That means noncitizens can also be elected Mayor or City Council (new name of Aldermen). We say that Frederick City voters should decide, and not just four Aldermen.

You have until October 28 to collect 15,000 signatures on a petition which would allow people in Frederick to decide if they want this new law.

Frederick City residents should be able to decide if they want for non-citizens, people who immigrated to our country illegally, to be able to vote in City elections. It is against Federal law for non-citizens to vote in our Federal elections.
