Frontline does not endorse in all races. We engage in and endorse in key strategic races or to demonstrate support of allies with a strong history of aligned, pro-family conservative leadership, especially sponsors of Frontline Agenda priority legislation. Our endorsements are weighted toward competitive races and do carry over from the primary.

This list is still expanding. If you would like to be considered for an endorsement from Frontline in this election cycle, please email Taylor Hawkins at [email protected].

AG Chris Carr Appeals the Overturning of the LIFE Act

In a decisive move to protect Georgia's LIFE Act, Attorney General Chris Carr has acted quickly to challenge the recent judicial decision that overturned this key pro-life legislation. Carr's office filed an appeal on Wednesday to the Georgia Supreme Court, not only seeking to reverse the ruling by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney but also requesting an emergency stay to maintain the law during the appeal process.

Judge McBurney's ruling claimed the LIFE Act, which restricts abortions after approximately six weeks of pregnancy, violated privacy and liberty protections under Georgia's constitution. If left unchallenged, this decision would allow abortions in Georgia up to roughly 22 to 24 weeks into pregnancy.

The Attorney General’s office vehemently criticized McBurney’s judgment as an act of judicial policymaking that undermines legislative intent, emphasizing the urgent need to preserve the integrity of state laws. The state’s legal team argues that the harm to both the state and the public from allowing expanded abortion services to continue during the appeal is significant and irreparable, as it puts the lives of unborn children at risk each day.

“As before, every day that illegal abortions continue is another day that the lives of tiny, unique individuals are ended,” Attorney General Carr wrote. “There are toddlers alive today because this Court stayed the superior court’s previous order.”

We fully support AG Chris Carr’s robust defense of life and are committed to ensuring that the LIFE Act's protections are swiftly restored.

The First and Only VP Debate

On Tuesday, we all witnessed the first and only Vice Presidential debate between Senator JD Vance and Governor Tim Walz.

Vance delivered a strong performance, although we, of course, were disappointed with his soft-on-abortion answer. All in all, he was composed, articulate, and addressed critical issues like the economy and immigration, clearly boosting the Trump campaign's momentum. Governor Walz appeared disorganized and had several unfavorable moments, though likely not severe enough to sway many voters against him.

Here are three of the most memorable moments from the debate:

1. Vance Reminded Americans of Kamala’s Inaction: JD Vance pointedly questioned Kamala Harris’s effectiveness, emphasizing that her tenure as Vice President has already provided ample time to address the issues she claims to prioritize. Vance’s straightforward question, “If Kamala Harris has such great plans for how to address middle-class problems, she ought to do them now,” resonated with voters who are tired of unfulfilled promises.

2. Walz Pressed on Tiananmen Square Comments: Tim Walz faced pointed questions about his earlier claims concerning Tiananmen Square. His response? An uncomfortable admission where he labeled himself a “knucklehead” who often gets “caught up in the rhetoric.” This was a big stumble, revealing on national television that his previous bold statements were, in fact, not true.

3. Standing Firm Against Biased Moderation: JD Vance boldly challenged the debate moderators when they deviated from agreed-upon rules by fact-checking him live. Vance stated, “Margaret, the rules were that you guys weren’t going to fact check, and since you’re fact-checking me, I think it’s important to say what’s actually going on.”
