Friends: In just a moment, we are going to ask you to contribute to Elissa Slotkin's campaign for U.S. Senate in Michigan. Please let us explain why this request – especially today – is so important.
Here's the truth:
You may have heard about Mitch McConnell's $22.5 million super PAC buy in Michigan – the one they're hoping will catch us off guard and deliver this race for our Republican opponent.
But here's why your donation in response is so important.
First and most obviously, we need the resources to fight back. $22.5 million is a lot of money and if we just sit back and take it without responding, Elissa is going to lose.
The bigger piece may be this:
Believe it or not, we have one final FEC fundraising deadline on October 16. And when it's done, we'll again file a report showing what we've raised.
Our opponents – including Mitch McConnell's super PAC – will see what we raised day-by-day during this month, including in the days since he announced his ads.
We want to put up a monster number. The kind of number that makes them think twice before spending more. Because if they know there's a price to pay for meddling in Michigan, maybe that will be the end of the spending against us.
And if that happens, we'll be in an even better position to win.
Our average online donation is $40. Some give more, many give less. All that matters is that we get lots and lots of donations in response to Mitch McConnell's meddling in our race. Will you split a donation now between Elissa’s campaign and Jacky Rosen’s?
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split between Elissa Slotkin and Jacky Rosen:

Thank you,
