Congratulations to everyone who completed the Robin Hood Half Marathon last Sunday. I know many people use running the Marathon as an opportunity to raise money for charity. This year, they included City Councillor Nick Raine who has raised over £1,000 for Imara, a Nottingham based charity working with young children and families who have suffered from sexual and domestic abuse. You can find out more about their work here.

We're making Queens Drive and Meadows Way safer and better by adding new crossings, two toucan crossings on Queens Drive and a zebra crossing and parallel crossing for cyclists on Meadows Way
Enabling works have begun this week and traffic will be managed around the site by temporary two-way traffic lights and some parking spaces suspended in order to create a safe working area for the four-week duration.
Meadows Way will be closed between Ainsworth Drive and Crossgate Drive to install ducting and create a raised crossing platform between Monday 21st and Friday 25th October.
