Healthcare workers all across the country are continuing to make unprecedented sacrifices in the fight against COVID-19.

 

The courage they have shown in the face of the pandemic is truly awe-inspiring. Their selflessness and dedication continues to save American lives and keep us safe.

 

Today is National Nurses Day.

 

Our nurses do vital work year in and year out, but they have never been more important than they are right now. I am so thankful for all of the hard-working nurses who have put their lives on the line to care for those who have fallen ill as a result of COVID-19.

 

We owe them a debt that we can’t possibly repay.

 

In order to celebrate the nurses making incredible sacrifices to keep us safe during COVID-19, I’m encouraging my grassroots supporters to share the story of a friend, family member, or loved one who is a nurse fighting on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic right now.
