It’s that time of year again. The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling down, and the election is heating up. In particular, early voting is underway and it’s time to start making sure voters have a plan to get to the polls on Election Day. To that end, our friends at Rideshare2Vote are hosting a virtual Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) phone bank tomorrow (and every Saturday until the election) at 12:00 p.m. EDT.

Rideshare2Vote is one of the best civic engagement organizations out there, and they are focused on reaching out to non-voters who would like to vote, but face transportation and mobility obstacles that keep them from doing so. To help address this issue, Rideshare2Vote has a program called Ride2Vote that offers free rides to voters who need that service. At this phone bank, we will be contacting these potential voters to inform them about this program and making sure that they have the means to make their voices heard in November. So come join us this Saturday and help defend democracy one ride at a time!
