Act now, and your gift can go twice as far to fight Alzheimer's.
Dear Friend,
Millions of Americans have lost loved ones to Alzheimer's disease. Chances are you or someone you know has been affected. I've been affected as well.
That's because Alzheimer's hits close to home with a devastating, life-altering impact. And more people are feeling that impact every day. So, we need to work quickly with everything we have to fight against this devastating disease.
A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged to match every gift — up to $120,000 — to support Alzheimer's research if we can raise that same amount by October 8. They shared with us how support from the Alzheimer's Association has helped them and their husband who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
"I joined a support group. The moderators are excellent, and they, along with the participants, provide a community of support that understands what is involved in being a caretaker for a loved one living with Alzheimer's disease.
I have also taken the Savvy Caregiver course. While this is not a support group, it is still incredibly supportive for a caretaker… I looked forward to each class, and each week I received information that I could apply to my situation at home."
Friend, the strong interest you've shown in this fight tells me you want to make a difference, and this match challenge is an incredible example of how YOU can push for the cure. That's why now is the perfect time to make a first gift that can have 2X the impact on our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Your donationn will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
