+ With Scott’s approval rating tanking, a poll showing me just a point away, and this race UPGRADED to a "Toss Up," the conditions are ripe for a Democratic upset of Florida's Senate race, too.

Even with the momentum we've built together, the new awareness that will come from this article, and the data clearly showing that the tide is turning in Florida, my chances of victory ultimately come down to cold hard cash.

I'm up against one of the richest senators in Washington, who spent $64 MILLION to buy this seat last time — and still only scraped by with a 10,033-vote win.

And in the first half of 2024 alone, he spent over $27 million more to keep it.

Without the support to reach my critical $500,000 midnight goal in time, he is certain to spend another $27 million or more in these last five weeks to drown me out of the running entirely.

That means, friend, that no matter how much positive coverage my race gets, I cannot win without the resources to fight back against Rick Scott's multimillion-dollar ad spending.
