Friend,

It's been a difficult time for all of us. I want you to know that my thoughts are with each and every one of you, and I will continue doing everything I can to make sure you and your loved ones have what you need to stay healthy and safe during this pandemic.

My thoughts and gratitude are also with our healthcare workers, who are showing heroic bravery on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19. Each and every day, they selflessly face the risk of this virus head on to save lives.

Meanwhile, President Trump has turned his back on national leadership at a time when our country needs it more than ever. He has:

Dismissed and demeaned public health experts who tried to warn the public about the severity of this pandemic – going as far as halting U.S. funding to the World Health Organization.
Gone on TV time and again to spread lies and misinformation during temper tantrums masquerading as press briefings.
And after a completely bungled response to this virus, he falsely claimed he took "strong action" early – yet another erratic lie to cover up his incompetence.
President Trump has led a relentless and calculated campaign to evade accountability for his response to this heartbreaking crisis – or lack thereof. But he can't evade accountability at the ballot box this November. And that's when we will bring him to justice and finally restore steady and trusted leadership to the White House.

In the meantime, please stay safe. Help one another in any way you can – just by staying home, washing your hands, and social distancing you are helping keep our communities safe. And know that we will get through this – together.

Sincerely,

Dick
