You may remember that in the past few cycles, Josh’s race has been so close that election officials weren’t able to declare a winner on election night. We expect that to happen again - the race may be decided by only hundreds of votes.
Trust me, I wish that wasn’t the case. I really want to be able to spend election night knowing our fate. (Hopefully, we'll be celebrating the day after…) But, there is a strong possibility that in the days after November 5, Josh’s race won’t be called yet. Instead, all eyes will be on CA-9 to see if Democrats are able to take back the House or not. Just imagine how insane that would be!
Josh’s campaign is one of the most vital seats in the country. And we need every Democrat to understand the importance!
That’s why it’s so critical we get the word out. We need every Democrat in our district to mail back their ballots.
We are currently raising funds to surge our organizing team capacity. We need to talk with tens of thousands of persuadable voters and we have to connect with Democrats to remind them to mail in their ballots.
