On the other hand, Jim Marter, Lauren’s extreme MAGA Republican opponent, is solely focused on taking her down and running a campaign based on fear, lies and conspiracy theories.

And throughout his campaign, he’s constantly talked to news outlets and posted lies on social media trying to smear Lauren’s record.

In case you missed just how extreme he is, here are a few things you should know:

• Marter continues to attack Lauren on social media, making up ridiculous lies about her work in Congress. Did you know that he once protested outside Lauren’s office opening in Sandwich?
• He’s claimed election fraud regarding the 2020 presidential election. And he supports a nationwide abortion ban.
• He has proudly aligned himself with the dangerous MAGA agenda and was even one of Trump’s delegates at the Republican National Convention.

This is just a snapshot of how extreme Jim Marter is. No one that is this out of touch with our values should ever get the chance to represent the hard-working families across IL-14.

That’s why it’s so important that we reelect Lauren and keep her as a leading voice in Congress as she works toward making progress for our communities.
