Extreme Republicans love to talk about "family values," but their actions tell a different story. They’re fighting to defund programs like Head Start that provide crucial early education and support to children from low-income families. These programs serve as launch pads for our kids to grow, learn, and succeed—yet they want to eliminate them.

To me, family values mean, first and foremost, recognizing that families come in all shapes and sizes. And no matter what they look like, every family deserves to thrive.

That’s why I’m committed to fighting for:

🍲 Families being able to put food on the table – No one should worry about their next meal. We must continue our fight for economic policies that support working families and ensure no one goes hungry.

🩺 Families affording their medications – Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We need to bring down the cost of prescription drugs and make sure every family has access to the care they need.

🏡 Families living in affordable homes – Everyone deserves a safe and stable place to live. It’s time we invest in affordable housing and support policies that help families thrive.

🧡 Families living safely from gun violence – Every family deserves to feel safe in their community, free from the threat of gun violence. We must pass common-sense gun safety laws to protect our children and our neighborhoods.
