Statement on Mike Braun's Second Victory in Two Days



INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 3, 2024) – Indiana Republican Party Chairman,
Randy Head, issued the following statement on Senator Mike Braun's victory in
the second gubernatorial debate.


Statement from Indiana GOP Chairman Randy Head:


"Mike Braun won tonight’s debate and proved he is the best candidate to lead
Indiana. Mike is a serious leader who will make a difference in Hoosiers'
pocketbooks and at their kitchen tables. Braun will attack inflation, lower the
cost of healthcare, and fix problems with education spending. These are the
kitchen table issues that matter to Hoosiers.

In contrast, Jennifer McCormick is out of step with everyday Hoosiers. She
supported Biden and the irresponsible spending that caused inflation. She is in
favor of adding another layer of government bureaucracy that will result in
higher taxes. She can’t run away from her open endorsement of expensive,
liberal policies that Hoosiers don’t want.

Mike Braun won both today's and yesterday's debates with his common sense
plans to shrink inflation, reduce taxes, and keep more money in our pockets.
This is the leader Hoosiers want.”
