My promise to you is that we will never engage in gimmicks to get your
attention. I read all the answers to every survey and try to respond to
emails when I can!

Last week, we sent out a survey to gauge feelings heading into the
election. I’ve just finished reading over a thousand responses and here’s
what I found out:

42% of respondents were feeling somewhat nervous about the election 😨

This is a consequential election – no doubt about it! If folks are feeling
nervous, the best thing we can do is to get involved. Convince a friend
(or ten!) to vote blue up and down the ballot, join a volunteer phone
bank, or even donate to help elect a strong future democratic bench which

LGBTQ+ rights emerged as a top concern for a majority of respondents 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

We’re feeling it too. From LGBTQ+ rights to access to abortion care, our
freedoms are on the ballot – but we’ve got historic candidates like Sarah
McBride who will be the first trans member of Congress when we elect her.
Project 2025 is Donald Trump’s horrifying plan to take us back to the
“good ole’ days” when women didn’t have a voice and minorities were
oppressed. 🙄 We are not going back, ever.

Folks were scared about the threat that Donald Trump poses to democracy 🏛️

Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. Full Stop. DT is a man-child who
still can not say aloud that he lost the 2020 election, and he’ll lose
again! He has said that when he loses this year, he won’t run again.

I plan to take him up on his offer and then some.
