Hi Jack!

As you know, American Wild Horse Conservation (AWHC) is the nation’s leading organization for wild horse protection. Our team is working every day to reform the federal government’s cruel and costly Wild Horse and Burro Program by forefronting humane in-the-wild conservation solutions over inhumane helicopter roundups.

We have an immense impact thanks to the many dedicated grassroots advocates that love our wild horses and burros. And now, with the 2024 summer roundup schedule nearing its close, we’re looking to grow our herd of Volunteer Ambassadors (VA) across the country! Our Volunteer Ambassador program places dedicated and passionate wild horse and burro champions like you on the frontlines of our fight to protect our wild herds.

By joining our herd of Volunteer Ambassadors, you will not only be helping a cause that is important to you, but educating others and working with like-minded individuals to advance the movement of wild horse and burro conservation.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER AMBASSADOR! [[link removed]]

Our Volunteer Ambassador program offers many ways for you to get involved in our work – from igniting wild horse & burro policy, to setting the conservation standard, and to building public appreciation & informed advocacy. As a VA, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with lawmakers, attend committee meetings, participate in roundups as a humane observer, and more.

We want to use your skills and your passion to fuel our grassroots efforts for wild horses and burros. That said, we understand that time commitment varies from person to person, so our VA roles are flexible for interested candidates.

If you’d like to get more involved in the movement for wild horse and burro conservation, fill out the application linked here to join our herd of Volunteer Ambassadors!
