CHAPTER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Our next General Membership Meeting will be on Saturday, Oct. 19th at 1pm at Valley Hi-North Laguna Library, 7400 Imagination Pkwy, Sacramento, CA.
The Sacramento DSA Local Convention will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23rd at 2pm, Location TBA. We will be electing our next steering committee, voting on important chapter bylaws and priorities, and so much more. Submission forms to submit bylaw amendments, propose chapter resolutions, and nominate yourself or someone for the steering committee, will be released soon.
Sac DSA Voter Guide, Coming Soon: Because mailed ballots are due to be sent out in early October, the SacDSA Electoral Committee will release a voter guide for the November 2024 Presidential Election no later than October 11th, 2024. We will provide insight and information about local (Sacramento city) ballot measures, statewide propositions, local school board candidates, and the candidates for certain state Assembly districts.

Ballots mail out to voters in just a few days. Now's the time to jump in and help our fellow DSA member and champion for the working class Dr. Flo Cofer get elected as the next mayor of Sacramento!

Join a canvass (door knocking) this weekend from 9:30am-1pm or 1:30-4:30pm

-Sunday, Oct. 6th in Midtown

Attend the Pints for Progress Fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 19th at 5pm.

PALESTINE ACTIONS

Join us in solidarity with other cities across the country as we mark one year of Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people. We demand that our government end its support for Israel's war crimes and other violations of human rights and international law.

Join the Mutual Aid Committee for our next meal & supply distribution! Come find out what we're all about and how you can get involved. We have a variety of ways for you to help out in person.
