The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) — the campaign arm of Senate Democrats — has pledged a multi-million dollar investment to help me retire Rick Scott and flip Florida blue.

It’s Cory Booker. I wanted to make sure you heard that my friend Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is running for the U.S. Senate in Florida. Her message is below:

Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Florida, former U.S. Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell

John — I wanted to make sure you heard it from me first:

I've said for a while now that with our razor-thin blue majority at stake, all eyes will be on Florida's Senate race this November.

Well, as it turns out, national Democrats have kept tabs on our movement too, and they agree that the tide really is turning in our favor here in Florida.

Now, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) — the campaign arm of Senate Democrats — has pledged a multi-million dollar investment to help me retire Rick Scott and flip Florida blue.

I can't overstate how massive this is for our chances of victory — especially so close to my final fundraising deadline of the race. Truthfully, it's all thanks to the faithful and enthusiastic support of people like you.

However, while this puts a solid dent in the gap left in my $6 million fundraising goal, there's still a hefty $3.01 million gap left to work through.

So for the next 24 hours, I've set a rapid-response $1 million grassroots goal in light of this incredible news and to prove to the rest of the nation that Florida really is in play for Democrats.

And John, I can't reach it without you.

Can I count on you to lead the charge this morning and split $10, $25, or any amount in the next 24 hours between my campaign and Cory Booker to support the DSCC's major cash infusion? Together, we really do have what it takes to flip Florida blue.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation to Debbie Mucarsel-Powell and Cory Booker will go through immediately:

None of this could have happened without you — thank you.

— Debbie
