John, we have some news out of PA-08 about Matt’s reelection campaign.

There is a new declared GOP challenger in the 2020 race – and wait until you meet this guy.

In his announcement, GOP candidate Teddy Daniels declared himself a “pro-Trump conservative” and stated his belief that the Democratic Party is not a “legitimate party.” He supports building a wall between the United States and Mexico and called our people-first agenda “un-American.”

He claims to support lowering health care costs. But, if elected, there is no doubt that any GOP nominee would march in lockstep with Washington Republicans – who have dedicated themselves to ripping health care away from millions of Americans and destroying protections for patients with pre-existing conditions.

Here's the thing: We're not going to let the GOP take this seat and try to impose their radical agenda on Pennsylvania’s 8th District.

John, there is no doubt in my mind that this is only the beginning of the GOP’s attempt to take this seat. We’ve written to you before about the rumors flying around John Chrin hopping back in for a second round (with his millions of dollars to self-fund the campaign, of course).
