It's election season again! The election
is fewer than 40 days away now, and early voting has started in many
states. There are so many good candidates and causes on the ballot
this year - make sure you don't miss out.
Step 1: Check Your Registration And

Each state is different, but in many,
early and mail-in voting has already started. You can check how your

Step 2: Find Your Local Forward
Candidate To Support
Forward has candidates on the ballot in
states across the country, from school board to U.S. Senate. Be sure
to check out our candidates page to find the one near you and give
them your support!
Step 3: Support Good Government Ballot
Measures
There's more than just candidates on the
line this November. There are dozens of crucial election reform
measures in states across the country. There are referendums for open
primaries, ranked-choice voting, independent redistricting
commissions, and more. Find out which ones are in your area in this
great guide from our friends at FairVote.
This election season is crucial, and you
can make the difference. Make sure you've got a plan, know your
candidates, have found your ballot measures, and then get
out there and vote! And don't forget to bring
friends!
Additional Voting Tools
We've got two additional tools we want to
highlight for you all that we think might make a huge difference this
election season.
The first is a tool out of Princeton's Electoral
Innovation Lab called Vote
Maximizer. Vote Maximizer is a fantastic tool that analyzes voter
power for a single voter in each district in the country based on how
much impact their single vote will have.
The second tool we want to highlight is
this database of election
deniers. The 2020 election wasn't stolen, and continued claims to
the contrary are eroding our democracy. Candidates who peddle in these
claims are unworthy of holding public office. Knowing if any such
candidates are running in your area can help you determine for whom
you should vote.
