** Call for Advocacy: Seeking a Ceasefire and Balanced Dialogue
------------------------------------------------------------

Dear John,

As we approach the anniversary of October 7th and the continued genocide taking place in Gaza, the media, political leaders, and influencers will be making public comments. The situation has become increasingly dire, with escalating violence in Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen further heightening our concerns.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) requests that you contact ([link removed]) your local representatives, including members of city council, mayors, state representatives, and federal elected officials, to ensure a fair and balanced statement. We encourage you to take a few minutes to send the letter ([link removed]) below, which we have prepared for you. This letter emphasizes the importance of avoiding one-sided statements that can deepen divisions and instead calls for a permanent ceasefire.

To find the contact information for all of your elected officials, see below. All you will need to do is enter your physical address. Afterwards, you will have a list of all federal, state, and local officials for your area, along with their contact information.

With Congress out of session and many elected officials returning to their districts, we have a prime opportunity to engage with our representatives directly. It is essential for them to be responsive to their constituents, and we must seize this moment.

Your voice is powerful, and together we can urge our leaders to prioritize peace and understanding during these challenging times.

Thank you for considering this important action.

In Service,

Haris Tarin
Vice President, Policy and Programming
