Here's the thing: NBC is calling my race the "nastiest and most expensive" of the year. National Republicans are spending MILLIONS to drown us out on the airwaves – and Trump and Vance are holding massive MAGA rallies in Ohio to flip this seat and the Senate red.
I know it might seem like the odds are stacked against us, but I've never backed down from a tough fight, and I won't start now. That's why – with voting officially underway for Ohioans in the military and overseas – I've set a rapid-response goal to raise $500,000 by midnight to fight back against the GOP's attacks and reach the voters who will decide this race.
iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.
Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.
Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.
