It looks like No-Show Nick’s far right dark money funders have figured out the only way he can win is to flood the district with false attacks. That’s what you get from a Trump flunky.
It’s pretty funny if you think about it: I was accused of being a secret Republican in the primary, and now I’m accused of being a hyper-partisan liberal in the general election. You can’t be both.
The truth is that I’m a believer in a strong and vital center - and I believe that the positive defeats the negative - which is why we’ve been laying out a positive vision for change based on common-sense problem solving and bringing people together.
But LaLota is just going to keep running these false ads all the way up to Election Day in hopes that he won’t have to tell voters the truth about how extreme he is on abortion, how he broke his promises on SALT, or how he helped kill the bipartisan border security bill.
He thinks he can fool Suffolk County families with that tired old two-step of pretending he’s moderate right before an election and then voting MAGA in Washington.
Bottom Line: they’re trying to bully voters in our district. And you know how I feel about bullies: You’ve gotta take it to them head-on.
What Suffolk County voters are seeing from me right now is me looking them in the eye, straight to camera, and telling them I’ll keep my promises. It’s how we can win this race, and it’s something my opponent’s dark money machine just can’t do.
