My office is proud to be partnering with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) New York District Office and the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide a two-part virtual series on SBA programs.

The first webinar "SBA Small Business Financing Programs" will take place on Thursday, October 10th, at 5PM, via Zoom. As part of this session, an SBA representative will review two key small business financing programs the agency offers: the 7(a) & 504 loan programs. These provide invaluable long-term affordable financing. In addition, it encourages banks and other institutions to lend to existing small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. The final webinar "SBA Small Business Certifications & Government Contracting Opportunities" will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, at 5PM, via Zoom. An SBA representative will review the requirements and how to apply for key SBA small business certifications, including:

• The 8(a) Business Development
• Small Disadvantaged Business 
• Women-Owned Small Business
• Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) 

Collectively, these programs provide a competitive advantage to targeted small businesses and provide an opportunity to compete for exclusive, set-aside contracts. If you are interested in participating in this program, please register here.
