Jack,

Currently in Georgia, 18 of our state’s rural hospitals are in danger of closing. If these rural hospitals close, it would be detrimental to the communities they serve. It is critical that residents in Middle and Southwest Georgia have access to quality health close to home.

There are so many steps we can and should take to make sure that rural communities have affordable and accessible health care providers. For example, the Biden administration has provided funding to support medical students in Middle and Southwest Georgia in order to retain students who have been fully trained in rural communities.

I am hopeful that the Harris-Walz administration will continue working to improve rural health care by protecting the Affordable Care Act and other subsidized health care and lowering costs for prescription drugs.

But if Donald Trump wins, Project 2025 will hurt rural America. It will repeal the Affordable Care Act, which will cut funds to rural hospitals and raise health care costs for millions of Americans.

It is so important to have a robust health care system that works for everyone. Will you chip in to my campaign today to send me back to Congress and elect the Harris-Walz ticket so we can keep fighting for accessible health care for all? [[link removed]]
