Dear John,
This is Manel Tomás, CitizenGO's Chief Operating Officer. Last week, the president of CitizenGO sent emails explaining the 10-lawsuit offensive that CitizenGO has embarked on to get justice for the blasphemy on display at the Paris Olympics and for our brave CitizenGO team arrested in Paris. Within days, thousands of you responded with generous donations, for which I am deeply grateful. That said, I’m reaching out because, to be honest, we could never have anticipated (who could have?) needing to budget for a response to such an unprecedented attack on our faith. This unexpected challenge has forced us to draw from our funds, impacting other vital campaigns planned for 2024. After reviewing our situation, we’ve realized we must close a $14,100 gap in monthly donations. I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t share with you that, without this crucial support, we won’t be able to hold the French authorities accountable for their offense against Christians during the Olympic Games. Honestly, that $14,100 difference is a huge gap for us. We need your help to keep CitizenGO strong and able to fight through years of delays from the French courts, which are notorious for dragging out lawsuits they don’t like. And since our criminal complaints are targeting Prime Minister Gabriel Attal and the Minister of Foreign Affairs for incitement to discriminate against Christians as well as officials in the Paris Police for false arrest, I am confident they won’t be happy. The challenges we face are immense and costly. The enemy is pushing its agenda, backed by billionaire globalists and international entities like the UN and the EU. But this offensive is a vital stand against these elites, and it will take a strong, committed team that includes YOU to claim victory. So I'm asking: Can you help us close our budget gap by chipping in $8 a month? Every single monthly donation makes a massive difference:
Thanks for all you do, –Manel Tomás, Chief Operating Officer --
Here's the email we sent you earlier on this:
Dear John,
For too long, Radical Leftist Governments have used terror to mock and oppress Christian voices, believing themselves unchecked and unopposed. Now, they’ve crossed the line, and we’re going on the offensive! CitizenGO is filing 10 Criminal and Administrative complaints in French Courts for the blasphemy permitted at the Olympics and the illegal arrest of our brave CitizenGO team. I need your support to win the fight. But first, let me fill you in. Like you, I was outraged when the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris made open mockery of Christians and Christian Sacraments. Watching naked individuals, transgenders, and drag queens desecrate the sacred Last Supper was truly appalling. That’s why I immediately began exploring legal options, and our legal team quickly prepared the first set of lawsuits, filed against the International Olympic Committee, former French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs for incitement to discrimination against Christians. In addition to that, we just filed an Administrative Complaint against the French Government with the French Council of State, which is responsible for holding the administration to the law which forbids religious bigotry. And then, when the Paris Police arrested our six team members and the driver of our rented bus under false pretenses and tried to extort them, I promised to fund each of their criminal complaints against the authorities that approved their arrest. As you can see, there’s a lot on our plate, and French courts are notorious for dragging out lawsuits they don’t like. We can’t sustain this battle against Government injustice and religious bigotry without the ongoing backing of brave individuals like you. So, I am asking you to take a bold step by becoming a monthly donor to CitizenGO so we can see this fight through no matter what!
I’m sure you can see how much is on the line. CitizenGO is on the offensive to send a message to the radical leftists that mock and oppress Christian voices that you and I will not just stand and take the abuse. That has always been CitizenGO’s mission, to be your voice to the world when the global elites would silence you. That’s why we decided in the first days after the opening ceremony at the Olympics to file criminal complaints against the International Olympics Committee, the former French Prime Minister, and the former French Minister of Foreign Affairs. The crime we are accusing them of carries a penalty of up to one year in prison and fines of up to $50,000. These are the weapons they wield against Christians to threaten and oppress us, but now the shoe is on the other foot. And they don’t like it. When our team was arrested under false pretenses and the police tried to extort them into handing over control of our bus, it was to silence your voice. I remind you that we went to Paris with a simple message to protest the blasphemy that the French Government and the IOC authorities allowed to be broadcast worldwide during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. This was a gratuitous, cowardly, and shameful act against the faith and beliefs of millions of people around the world. These authoritarian, anti-Christian bureaucrats thought it would be easy to silence us but our brave team refused to give in. So our six-member team, along with the bus driver, were arrested, had their phones and personal items confiscated, were held for hours without a lawyer, and were even strip-searched. Will you help us stand up for and defend your values? Will you support us in these 10 legal cases?
Right now, you and I are in an important fight to ensure that what took place in Paris is punished so it doesn’t happen again—not just for us, but also for you and your family. Governments should not violate their own laws to attack and mock Christians. We should not be dragged off the streets and jailed for defending our faith from blasphemous attacks or peacefully protesting injustice. Our team didn’t break any laws, but the French government was embarrassed by our message and wanted us to shut up. But CitizenGO won’t back down. We will ensure that those responsible for mocking our Christian faith face justice and understand the consequences of their tyranny. However, pursuing justice isn’t free. It’s expensive, and winning in court will require consistent effort and support. The global elites in the IOC and the far-left French authorities have endless resources. Meanwhile, CitizenGO does not rely on billionaire funding or government subsidies. And we don’t need them! CitizenGO has something they don’t—we have you. We have the power of a united community who will not be intimidated and who will not back down from blatant attacks on our faith and government injustice when we peacefully voice our displeasure. If we stand together, we can win. But we can’t do it without your help. Will you chip in with a monthly contribution to sustain our 10 complaints in the French Courts? Help us show the world that Christians will not be silenced by tyrants and oppressors.
Thank you for standing with us in this critical hour. Ignacio Arsuaga and the entire CitizenGO Team
P.S. The French Government crossed the line, and we’re going on the offensive. Are you with me? With 10 Criminal and Administrative complaints to push through the French Courts to get justice over the mockery of Christian Sacraments at the Olympics and the arrest of the CitizenGO team sharing your voice, I’m counting on you. Will you chip in with regular support to help CitizenGO fight for your voice in court?
