Events & Fundraisers

Dear friends of the Fund,

This month you can experience the circle of life in the Serengeti with The Lion King or stop in at the Kit Kat Club for one of three performances of Cabaret. Your ticket purchase helps support a life in the arts.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Lion King

The Lion King Special Performance
Wednesday, October 16, 7 pm ET

Minskoff Theatre
200 West 45th Street
New York, NY 10036

Entertainment Community Fund Special Performances thrill audiences with an electric energy unlike any other night of theater! What makes a Special Performance so "special"? Broadway companies generously give their time and talent by adding a performance to benefit the Entertainment Community Fund.

Experience the awe-inspiring visual artistry, the unforgettable music and the uniquely theatrical storytelling of The Lion King—one of the most breathtaking and beloved productions ever to grace the stage. Tony Award-winning director Julie Taymor brings to life a story filled with hope and adventure set against a backdrop of stunning visuals.

Cabaret

Cabaret Producer’s Picks
Tuesday, October 22, 7:30 pm ET
Wednesday, October 23, 8 pm ET
Wednesday, October 30, 8 pm ET

August Wilson Theatre
245 West 52nd Street
New York, NY 10019

See top-notch theater and feel good about helping others! Producer’s Picks tickets are donated by the producers so your entire ticket purchase goes to support the Entertainment Community Fund’s programs and services.

Willkommen to the Kit Kat Club! Thanks to the producers of the revival of Cabaret—now starring Adam Lambert (American Idol) and Auli’i Cravalho (Moana)—we invite you to leave your troubles outside. Arrive early to see how the denizens of the Kit Kat Club have created a decadent sanctuary inside Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre, where artists and performers, misfits and outsiders rule the night. After all, what good is sitting alone in your room?
