I'm reaching out on this #GivingTuesdayNow - a global day of giving to benefit organizations helping with COVID-19 relief - with deep concern for the more than 8 million restaurant workers across our nation who have recently lost their jobs due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In the face of this global crisis, these workers need our immediate financial support. As restaurants across the country cut hours and staff, suspend business, and close for good, many restaurant workers will be faced with long-term loss of income.

The Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund was created to help the restaurant industry and its employees who are experiencing hardship in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, and they need our support >>>

The Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund allocates donations received to the following programs:

50% for direct relief to individual restaurant workers
25% for non-profit organizations serving restaurant workers in crisis
25% for zero-interest loans for restaurants to get back up and running
