Many people might be facing financial hardship right now, so if you cannot
afford to give today — that’s okay. We are grateful to have you on the team.
Thank you!

During this national health crisis, the Trump administration is doing its best
to rollback non-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ Americans seeking health
care. Health experts have warned that removing these protections against health
care discrimination will harm some of the people most vulnerable to COVID-19.

Everyone deserves to be treated equally under the law, and making LGBTQ+ folks
less safe and less likely to receive care during a global pandemic is just
wrong.

That's the kind of hate we're up against — a White House that sees a pandemic
as an opportunity to threaten the health and safety of our LGBTQ+ friends,
family members, and neighbors. This White House doesn't care that they're also
our nurses, our firefighters, our essential works — it only matters that
they're LGBTQ+.Discrimination is deadly.

I served in the U.S. Air Force under Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and I know what's
at stake when our elected leaders don't have the courage to stand up against
bigotry and hate. We can’t sit by while this administration tries to remove
equal protection under the law for LGBTQ+ Americans. I'm running for Congress
to expand access to quality, lower-cost health care, and to ensure that
EVERYONE is treated equally under the law.

But I can’t do that without your help. That’s why it’s so important that
you’re with me. Will you show that you are with me by donating to my campaign
today?
