Who exactly is Tom Rogers anyway? Tom Rogers
is a wealthy media mogul. As the first President of NBC Cable, he
created MSNBC. Yes, the same Tom Rogers who is demanding that
Americans bully their neighbors into voting for Kamala or they’re
responsible for “electing Donald Trump” is one of the pioneers of the
transition to partisan news monopolies that serve as mouthpieces for
the duopoly.
Here’s a little known fact about the origins of
the term “spoiler” – it first raised its ugly head when the
pro-slavery Whigs used it to attack anti-slavery candidates! That’s
how long the powers that be have been fighting against democracy and
human progress.
We know
that votes are not owned, they’re earned. And Kamala Harris mostly
seems interested in earning votes from right-wing Republicans. For one
thing, she refuses to consider an arms embargo against Israel, even as
they widen their genocidal war against their neighbors, increasing the
danger of WWIII. The Democrats claim she’s “working tirelessly for a
ceasefire” but those claims ring hollow as billions upon billions of
dollars and weapons keep flowing to Israel after almost a year of
genocide. On issue after issue, from fracking to immigration to the
death penalty, Harris and the Democrats have lunged to the right to
appeal to the likes of Dick Cheney.
Rather than reflect upon the impact Harris’
pro-corporate, warmongering positions could have on the election, Tom
Rogers and the Morning Joe crew would rather fear-monger over Jill and
Butch for daring to run as candidates for people, planet, and peace.
We’ve seen this from the start – from lawfare against our ballot
access to delaying our federal matching funds, to unleashing their
attack dogs on Jill and Butch every chance they get. Stein/Ware is
challenging empire, and the empire is lashing out.
Jill and Butch are
the only anti-genocide, pro-worker, climate emergency campaign for
