I am debating my MAGA opponent tonight, and I would like to tell you why I need a lot of donations before I take the debate stage this evening.

Here's the truth:

From the moment I launched this campaign, I knew that we'd need a lot of people making small contributions in order to fend off attacks from Trump and GOP Super PAC cash. After all, Trump is a vindictive man. I’m sure he would like nothing more than to see me lose and get his revenge on me for blowing the whistle on his attempted extortion of Ukraine.

I'm very proud of what we've accomplished together. Thousands of people have come together to help fund this pro-democracy movement, and that support means the world to me.

I wish I didn't have to ask you to chip in today, but that's what I need to do if we're going to have the resources to win this seat and flip the House majority blue next month.

So before tonight's debate begins, I am looking for a large number of donations to send a powerful message about the grassroots strength of this campaign.
