In a nation where every voice matters, it is critical that our leaders uphold the highest standards of integrity. Unfortunately, Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz has been accused of lying about his military service—a betrayal that has deeply offended our veterans and citizens alike.
In 2005, Congress passed the Stolen Valor Act, and in 2013 it was strengthened under Public Law 113–12, which criminalizes falsely claiming military honors for personal gain. Tim Walz’s claims about his military rank and combat service have been publicly denounced by 50 military veterans in Congress. These service members charged Walz with fabricating his rank and dodging deployments, deceiving voters and veterans alike.
As George Washington once said, “Should any who are not entitled to these honors have the insolence to assume the badges of them, they shall be severely punished.”
It is time to hold Tim Walz accountable for his actions. By signing our petition, you can demand an official indictment for his violations under the Stolen Valor Act.
