Folks,

If you tuned in to the Vice-Presidential debate yesterday like I did, I’m sure you have some thoughts.

Trump picked Vance as his running mate because Vance is the epitome of a yes-man. How else would Vance go from being a “never-Trump guy” ( yes, those are Vance’s own words ) to his VP candidate? All Vance cares about is climbing the political ladder. He wants to ride Trump’s coattails all the way to the White House.

And then of course there’s the fact that they don’t have a plan to fix the problems facing our communities. Trump said it himself. All he has are “concepts of a plan.” Meanwhile Democrats have a vision. We have a plan – and we’re ready to get it done.

We’re not wasting time “repealing and replacing Obamacare.” We’re passing legislation that caps insulin prices. We’re trying to expand the Child Tax Credit so working families have a little more breathing room in their budgets. Unlike Trump and Vance, we’re not dodging questions about national abortion bans. We’re protecting and expanding a woman’s right to reproductive health care.

Look, we cannot let Donald Trump and J.D. Vance anywhere near the White House. They’re a danger to our democracy and our country.

Democrats are focused on the issues that matter. But a big part of making our plans a reality is electing Democrats up and down the ballot, with Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket. So I’m asking: can you chip in $5 or more today to help me get it done? [link removed]
