Speaking to the camera, Kamala Harris tells voters: “We will lower your food and grocery bills by going after price-gougers.”

RealClearPolitics just reported that the Harris campaign is following the Progressive Change Campaign Committee’s economic messaging advice, offered over months.
The NY Times reports the PCCC "has worked closely with the White House on economic messaging." Ahead of the last debate, NPR interviewed us on debate strategy and "what Harris can do to define herself for voters."
Our top recommendation based on extensive polling has been: "Groceries, groceries, groceries! It’s the number one pain point to acknowledge."
We also recommended merging lowering costs and fighting price gouging: "As a leader on the care economy, Harris is uniquely suited to merge care and price gouging into one message: 'Our administration will make caring for our families more affordable. We’ll stop corporations that price gouge families on everything from groceries to gas to prescriptions -- and we’ll ensure families aren’t crunched on both sides with the high costs of raising a child and caring for an aging parent at the same time.'"
