Team — Last week, Vice President Harris joined Arizona leaders at the border to hear directly from Arizonans impacted by our failing immigration system. This November, we have the opportunity to elect a President who is fighting for an immigration system that is secure, fair, orderly, and humane. All Arizonans deserve a border that is safe, secure, and wants every person to be treated with dignity and respect. But the stark differences between Republicans and Democrats on this issue couldn’t be clearer. The GOP’s immigration plan includes bringing back his infamous Muslim ban, restricting asylum, and conducting mass raids across the country — they’ve even promised a 100% deportation rate at the border. This isn’t just hateful rhetoric — it’s a plan for ripping our families and communities apart. These proposed policies are dangerous and dehumanizing. This cannot be further from our values as Arizonans. We’ve already seen what Trump’s words can do. He demonizes immigrant communities, feeding his base hate and lies. And his promise of a "bloodbath" if he resumes mass deportations makes it clear that if he wins in November, we will see a terrifying escalation of cruelty toward immigrant communities, with devastating consequences for families across the nation. Democrats are fighting for a humane, secure border and real reform and we need to send Vice President Harris to the Oval Office to ensure that our values are represented.
