You don’t need me to tell you, but my good friend Ahsha Safaí would make a terrific Mayor of San Francisco.

I’ve known Ahsha for 24 years, and I’ve always known him to be a strong leader and effective advocate for San Francisco’s children and working families. 

From his work raising the minimum wage as a labor organizer to his time working with Mayors Newsom and Brown to lift up immigrants and formerly incarcerated people, to his leadership in building more affordable housing and ensuring more transparency over the spending of homeless funds as a Supervisor–Ahsha has always been there when working families need him.

Today, Ahsha is running for Mayor of San Francisco, and he’s bringing working families from every corner of our city together.
