After years of experiencing homelessness, Vietnam veteran Janie Burns, 73, now has a safe place to live in, which she shares with her three daughters and three granddaughters in Palmdale. Administered by the LA County Development Authority, the Measure H-funded Homeless Incentive Program enables landlords to rent to people experiencing homelessness. Click here to watch.

Short-Term Rentals Ordinance Taking Effect
If you are providing or intend to provide your primary residence as a short-term rental (for 30 days or less) in unincorporated areas of LA County, the County’s Short-Term Rentals ordinance takes effect on October 7, 2024. Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Pink Week
With October designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Gloria Molina Grand Park will collaborate with local and global organization during the first week of October to increase awareness and provide access to breast cancer screenings and other health resources.
