Gabe Evans has a story and a background that reflects everything that I fought so hard to reflect in our party.
Gabe’s mother grew up going back and forth from sleeping on a dirt floor in Juarez, Mexico to her home in El Paso. Her father had immigrated from Mexico for a better life for his family.
Gabe has paid his country back 10-fold for the opportunity that his grandfather gave his family, first by serving in the Colorado National Guard.
He served for 12 years as a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot and company commander in the U.S. Army.
After he completed his combat deployments in the Middle East, he came back home to Colorado and joined his community police force.
He worked his way up from being a street cop to a Police Lieutenant. And when rioters burned down cities in 2020, he put on riot gear and commanded a task force to keep innocent Americans safe.
Today, he lives on his family farm with his wife, Anne, where they teach their two young boys the values of hard work, dedication, and freedom.
If that’s not enough, he’s done something that is difficult in today’s political climate: He’s brought unity!
The Libertarian third-party candidate in his race dropped out and endorsed him. You don’t see things like that nowadays, but it shows the quality of candidate and person that Gabe is.
There’s one problem that could lead to a preventable defeat this November: Gabe’s campaign is in the middle of a MASSIVE BUDGET SHORTFALL that could lose him the election.
