20 Remember your covenant promises,

for the land is full of darkness and violence!

I talk to people all the time, Believers and nonbelievers alike, and I am disturbed that a common thread runs between both groups—they feel anxious, distressed and downtrodden.

America in 2024 IS downtrodden. The economy is slow, despite what the White House and mainstream media say. Interest rates are high, everyday goods are expensive, and a whole mess of cultural rot is forced upon us and our children.

What can we do? Should we stay downtrodden? No way! We must fight back through the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline."
