Here are three things you need to know:

1. How to watch — The debate will be aired live at 7:00 PM ET on local TV networks across Virginia and streamed at WAVY.com.
2. What to look for — We’ll be keeping an eye on Cao to see if he repeats his comparison of abortion to the Holocaust, to hear why he opposed funding to Ukraine and denigrates NATO, and to find out why he wants to raise taxes on more than a third of Virginians instead of lowering costs.
3. What you can do — The best way to make sure we don’t send an extremist like Hung Cao to the U.S. Senate is to donate whatever you can towards Tim Kaine’s $30,000 daily fundraising goal ahead of the debate.

The fact is that Hung Cao does NOT represent American or Virginian values. But everyone from Donald Trump to Ted Cruz is backing him and calling Virginia a major pick-up opportunity for the GOP. 

If Hung Cao wins in Virginia, it’s all but guaranteed that Trump will too — securing a second Trump term and a Republican majority in the Senate.
