Extremist super PACs know the fight for control of the House runs through KS-03, and so they’re going to do everything they can in these final five weeks to defeat Sharice. 1. Sharice’s story is unique in Congress. Raised by a single mom who spent more than 20 years serving in the U.S. Army, Sharice was the first person in her family to attend college, juggling multiple jobs to put herself through school. She went on to work in economic and community development on Native American reservations, helping tribes to create programs and initiatives for growth.

2. Sharice is a barrier-breaker. Sharice is one of the first two Native American women to serve in Congress and the first openly LGBTQ+ Native American elected to Congress. We need her voice and her perspective in Congress more than ever today.

3. We can count on Sharice to deliver results, not just talk about our problems. She’s tackling the issues most important to Kansas families — like cutting the cost of insulin, taking bipartisan action to reduce gun violence, and creating thousands of good-paying clean energy jobs across Kansas.

4. National Republicans say defeating Sharice is one of their top priorities. They know as well as we do that whichever party wins in this district will likely win the House — which is why Speaker Johnson has personally wired money to Sharice’s opponent.

5. Sharice is committed to protecting abortion access. We know that if National Republicans succeed in flipping KS-03, Sharice’s opponent will very likely be another vote for every extremist policy that Speaker Johnson’s majority puts forward — including a national abortion ban. Sharice is fighting every day to protect the right to choose, in Kansas and across the country.
