John,
Hurricane Helene has devastated western North Carolina. Many folks are still experiencing food shortages, power outages, little-to-no cell service, and much more.
As rescue and relief efforts continue on the ground, I wanted to share ways folks can get involved and help your fellow North Carolinians during this difficult time.
From food banks to blood drives, organizations across the state are stepping up to bring critical relief to impacted communities.
The North Carolina Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster has compiled opportunities to volunteer in relief efforts. You can click here to find opportunities near you. [[link removed]]VOLUNTEER [[link removed]]

Thank you to everyone working hard on the rescue and relief efforts in western North Carolina.
Together, we will get through this.
