Communications: Post-Election Comms Survey Closing 10/11

We’re extending the deadline one final time on a short survey about your organization’s post-election communication priorities, capacities, and interests. It should take less than 20 minutes to complete the survey, and your responses will help us align shared communication efforts with members’ needs and goals.

Coordinated communication to shape policy debates and share accurate information with immigrant families will likely be a priority in 2025. Please share your priorities and needs, so we’re ready when the time comes.

Complete the Survey by Oct. 11

Language Access: Medicaid EPSDT Guidance

Medicaid’s Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) provision ensures that eligible children can get a range of health services they need — well-child visits, mental health services, dental, vision, and more. Last week, the Biden Administration issued updated guidance to states on EPSDT, a longstanding priority for children’s health advocates. The guidance requires states and managed care organizations to both: provide language access when educating families about EPSDT’s many services; and inform families about the availability of language assistance services when they seek care. Congratulations to PIF partners who advocated for this important policy.
