Hey there,
I wish I could say I’m just reaching out to share my family’s favorite Venezuelan arepas recipe; unfortunately, I’m here to talk about an existential threat to our immigrant communities.
Project 2025 is the white nationalist policy agenda designed to destroy our freedoms brick by brick. It plans to tear families apart by destroying crucial programs like DACA, Humanitarian Parole, and Temporary Protected Status (TPS). These relief programs are a lifeline to millions of immigrants like me, who have been able to work, thrive, and provide for our families because of these protections. As a Venezuelan immigrant under TPS, Project 2025 would put my life on the line.
If enacted, Project 2025 would rescind protections that prevent ICE from making deportations and detentions in schools, hospitals, or even our places of worship. The goal is to make our communities feel unsafe everywhere, whether we’re at home, in class, or simply walking in our neighborhood.
And, that’s not even scratching the surface of it yet. Project 2025 is over 900 pages long — every page is filled with policy proposals that threaten all aspects of our lives, from reproductive rights to climate change.
📽️ I will show you my family’s favorite arepas recipe, but listen along as I give you a breakdown of what we’re up against. Watch my latest video today for an overview of Project 2025:

What brings me comfort in moments like this is knowing that our community will fight with all we’ve got to keep one another safe. Whether it is by cooking a warm meal for our loved ones or heading to a community rally with a friend, we’ll continue to show up for one another. 👉 You can start by sharing this video with your friends today to keep them informed about Project 2025.
In unity!
