John,

I'm bringing this up to the top of your inbox so I
can issue you a challenge.

In my earlier message, I explained why it's vital that
we make the most of #GivingTuesdayNow - which ends in just a
couple of hours - and I told you how all #GivingTuesdayNow gifts
are being matched two for one.

Here's the challenge:
With your help, I think we can raise the final $15,480 we need
between now and midnight, when #GivingTuesdayNow and the 3X matching
gift offer both expire.

I realize that's a lot
of money, but it would be spread out among you and all our other
members and supporters. For example, if 258 of you contribute $60 each
... Bam! It's done. If 443 of you give $35 each ... same
result.

Please take a moment right now to read my earlier note, in
which I explain how the two for one match triples your donation
... or just skip directly to making your #GivingTuesdayNow
contribution of $35 or whatever you can afford right away, before the
deadline passes.

Kim Elliot

##

John,

This is it. #GivingTuesdayNow. A global day of giving and unity.
An emergency response to the unprecedented need created by COVID-19.

And the last day for you to take advantage of that two for one
matching gift offer.

At the root of everything we do is our connection to the outdoors.
Parks and public lands are needed now more than ever to heal from this
crisis.

That's why our work is not stopping. We are still committed
to doing all of the following over the next five years:

* Protect 1 million acres of land
* Create 35 new parks
* Build 1,000 miles of trails
* Protect 1,000 miles of rivers
* Open green schoolyards in 20 school districts
* Use data to pinpoint where parks are needed most
* Create new trails funding
* Fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund
* Engage 50 mayors to advocate for parks
* Increase community engagement by 75 percent
* Bring new trails to 50 communities

We're grateful for the community of thousands of members
and public land supporters who understand the importance of public
lands and open spaces ... who want to help bring about a change
for the better ... who make our work possible.

As a nonprofit, even in the best of times, the resources we need
in order to carry out our work - as well as our very survival
- are completely dependent on the generosity of people like you.
That is even more true now as we look forward.

It's also why an anonymous patron has offered to triple
match every #GivingTuesdayNow gift we receive ... two for one
... up to a total of $250,000.

When you donate $25, they will match it with $50 of their own
... turning your gift into $75. When you donate $35, they will
make it $105. Your generous gift of $50 will become $150.

Yes, that's right. The #GivingTuesdayNow gift you give
today will triple in size and strength.

In time, parks will reopen and our community will come together
again. We will reunite in the places we love, and we will once again
be able to enjoy nature together. We're fighting for that day,
and your gift - which will be tripled - will sustain our
vital work through any challenges ahead.
