I hope everyone has had an amazing week! Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter, and I hope it provides you with an update on the party’s efforts.

Hope you had a chance to watch the VP debate. My favorite moment was when JD Vance fact-checked the crooked media!

Yesterday, Iran attacked Israel, our friend and ally. Trump put it perfectly: the world is on fire, and U.S. leadership is missing in action! We must elect Donald Trump and Republican candidates to the House and Senate if we want to avoid WWIII. Peace through strength!

The past week has been focused on GOTV efforts and fundraising. We are knocking it out of the park in South Texas and also focusing on Harris County, Fort Bend, Collin, and Tarrant counties.

As I was traveling back from Houston after multiple GOTV and campaign events, I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful group of veterans returning from an Honor Flight. I spoke with a couple of them and expressed my gratitude for everything they've done to secure freedom for me, my family, and our nation. When I mentioned that I serve as the Chairman of the Texas GOP, they asked me to focus on two things: securing our elections and borders, and reducing property taxes. One gentleman specifically said, 'I can't afford the property taxes anymore on my own and need help to pay them each year. This is so unfair!' No Texan should have to rent their home from the government, let alone an honor recipient in his later years!

We must get real property tax reform next session—not just lip service from politicians, but real reform that will change people’s lives!

When you see a veteran, thank them for their service! Please!

Over the weekend I was in DC for a fellowship that I've been part of for couple of years and had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Senator John Cornyn, Cruz team, Representative Chip Roy, Representative Dan Creanshaw, Representative Keith Self and several other members of Congress in order to discuss overall strategy, emphasized by the importance of working together to win in November. 

I enjoyed talking with Congressman Crenshaw about his legislation, specifically the Children's Hospital GME Support Reauthorization Act of 2023 which stops grant funding for hospitals that push harmful gender transition procedures. By denying grants that go towards training resident physicians, we can stop hospitals from conducting irreversible procedures on children.

Speaking of winning in November, this election could be the most crucial election of our lives. As a party, we are doing all we can up and down the ballot to secure Republican victories statewide. There are many critical seats across the state that are available to flip red. Please consider contributing today to help our Republicans win big this November.

Trump Signs

There is still time to get your Trump/Vance yard sign! If you would like a yard sign, we have been distributing them across Texas with the help of our County GOPs. Please contact your County Chair here if you would like one. Lastly, there are just under 35 days left until Election Day. Please double check that you are registered at your current address to vote. And make sure your friends and family have registered as well!
