A campaign is just like a long-distance run.

At first, you have to pace yourself. You need to save your energy for the grueling road ahead. But then — as the end approaches — you need to tap into your whatever energy you have left and sprint towards the finish line.

Having run the Boston marathon 10 consecutive times, as we enter October, I feel like we’re taking that final turn onto Boylston and we’re in the final sprint to the finish line .

We have just 34 days to Get Out the Vote, defeat Kelly Ayotte, and elect a Democratic Governor for the first time in almost a decade. Polls show us TIED in this toss-up race , and we need your support to pull ahead.
