The Bay Area’s roughly 200,000 affordable housing residents represent a powerful collective voice for our movement! NPH is proud to offer voter registration materials designed to support your outreach efforts to affordable housing residents ahead of Election Day.

Use these voter registration posters to empower the people most impacted by the affordable housing policies that our movement advocates for every day.

These materials are currently available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese!

 

🚨 Deadline Approaching: Join the ELPN Steering Committee

Time is running out to join the Emerging Leaders Peer Network (ELPN) Steering Committee! Could you be one of the next Steering Committee members that helps bring accessible and diverse programming to early and mid-career affordable housing practitioners and advocates?

Deadline: October 11

ELPN Steering Committee Positions for 2025-26:

  • Professional Development Co-chair (2 open positions)
  • Social Events Co-chair (1 open position)
  • Policy & Advocacy Co-chair (1 open position; preferred candidate is someone in non-profit development)
 

🍸 Save the Date for the NPH Member Party!

 

The NPH Annual Holiday Member Party is happening on Thursday, December 5 from 5PM-8PM PT at El Rio in San Francisco! Mark your calendars for an evening of food, fun, and connection with fellow housers.

This event will be an opportunity to celebrate you and our affordable housing industry and to connect with the NPH member community. If you’re an NPH member, we especially need your presence to cast your vote for the new NPH Board members who will guide our strategic work ahead!

 

🎊 Announcing NPH's New Policy Director, J.T. Harechmak!

 

NPH is thrilled to announce that J.T. Harechmak is NPH's new Policy Director! J.T. has served as NPH's Senior Policy Manager for the last two years, leading NPH's regulatory and federal advocacy and our state legislative and budget advocacy. He has worked in close collaboration with NPH members and in facilitating NPH member working groups and committees, including the Legislative Issues and Regulatory Working Groups.

Recently J.T. collaborated and navigated the complexities of our electoral strategy and led the process in Oakland with members and partners on labor standards for Measure U funds.

Join us in congratulating J.T.!
